Is there a tutorial on how to do sprites like my pic? It's not that I'm lazy, but I don't have time on my hands :(

that might be useful, but if not used correctly (or not adjusted) it can make a pixel look terrably flat (judging by the pre-sets)

also its not a tutorial, but more like a tool. but it might still be useful for many

I hesitate to give any pixel advice when Ixayou is involved cuz she's so flippin much better at spriting than I am. For real...

Yet I think this may be relevant. Pick a good graphic editor and learn it well . Seriously. Think about trying to build anything without the proper tools... Like trying to build an entire house with just a screwdriver and a hammer... It's not going to look as good as it could.

There's not even that much to learn. Biggest things are knowing all about: Layers, Selections, grids and Image Interpolation. And honestly, with the way 001 handles Anti-Aliased edges you don't even need to know that much about the last one. (In earlier versions it was important, as Pixels with any alpha involved shown us as magenta... All curse the evil FF00FF... Gawd I hated you  ;) )

Always remember that MSpaint was created by Satan to trick you and steal your soul. (You know this is true because you are reading it on the internet... )

But it really is sorta evil....

Didn't see this thread until now! Definitely going to use this here in the next few days to work on my games a bit more. Going to help me with my art skills drastically.
I make tutorials for new and old users. PM me what you want to see a tutorial on!
